Chaos: Head – First impressions

Hey there readers, Kyolux here, after almost two weeks without posting, back into writing action with a review of Chaos: Head’s first episode.

Head

What does Chaos: Head, a Visual Novel game adaptation, has in store for us? I'm looking forward to know!

This series came out of nowhere for me. I’ve only seen one episode so far, but boy am I sucked in this one. For those that loved either Higurashi no naku koro ni (When they Cry in English) or Welcome to the NHK, well, you’re in for a somewhat mix of both of these, or so it seems from this first episode.

The main character, Takumi Nishijou, while not an hikikomori (someone who avoid social contacts and only steps outside to grab food at the convenience store) nor a NEET (Someone who’s not in school, nor in any job and isn’t looking for one either), but it could be as if, since he makes sure he can get through school with the minimum effort needed. And that’s pretty much where his social activities stop. Oh, did I mention all he does is play an mmorpg?

Hyped up for: Legend of the Seeker

Poster for Legend of the Seeker

Haven’t posted in a few days, but I’ve got a few things lined up. For the moment, I want to speak of something I’ve been anticipating for quite a while now(and, after being out of the loop for a while, I learned all about it this morning). Namely, the adaptation of a book series that I love into a TV series, the Sword of Thruth(by Terry Goodkind). For the TV version they are renaming the series’ name to “Legend of the Seeker”. From what I’ve read, this will be covering only the first book… Hopefully more will come.
Yeah, I’m talking about this late, but as I’ve said I’ve been out of the loop for a bit.

This is the first time in years that I’ve been hyped up for a TV show that isn’t anime. So here’s a bit of info on the overall story, actors(the ones that are known for now), pictures and the first trailer.

This is coming on November 1st by the way, so it’s really soon. Also, this is produced by Sam Raimi, the guy behind the Evil Dead series and the Spiderman adaptations. Going to play on ABC, WGN and maybe a couple of others. Check your local listings!
