Music (really short) review: AC/DC, Black Ice

In general, AC/DC has always had its own unique sound. Overall great rock, high energy all-around, and just fun to listen to(and how can you not like).

It’s been 8 years since the last AC/DC album. So does Black Ice retain the same quality as previous AC/DC albums? Let’s check it out!
First, the song list. Well, 15 songs. That’s actually quite a bit. I normally buy heavy metal albums that have like less than 9 songs, so 15 songs really seems like a lot to me. Here is the list:

1. Rock ’n Roll Train
2. Skies On Fire
3. Big Jack
4. Anything Goes
5. War Machine
6. Smash N Grab
7. Spoilin’ For A Fight
8. Wheels
9. Decibel
10. Stormy May Day
11. She Likes Rock N Roll
12. Money Made
13. Rock N Roll Dream
14. Rocking All The Way
15. Black Ice

Now, there’s lots of songs, but are they any good? Well, yes. You might have heard the hit single “Rock ’n Roll Train” on the radio or something, and one thing it does is show that AC/DC still hasn’t lost their unique style. This is very welcome, considering lots of bands lately have changed their style to appeal to the masses more (*coughgreendaycough*), and AC/DC shows they don’t need to do that to still be an appealing band.
The music is high on energy, the guitar/drums/bass are in perfect harmony throughout all the songs, and Brian Johnson’s vocals are great, he didn’t lose any of his voice(after all those years) that helps make AC/DC such an awesome band.
The songs themselves are well written and just plain fun to listen to. Not much more to say here. My favorites would be Rock ’n Roll Train, Skies On Fire, Spoilin’ For A Fight, Wheels and Black Ice , but really all the songs on there are good, there’s no bad song in there.

Overall, this is a great addition to AC/DC’s discography and every fan should get it. It stays true to their usual style and it’s fun to listen to. If you’re (somehow) new to the band, I suggest checking it out, you might really like it.

(yeah, that’s it. told you it was gonna be a mini-review, barely 300 words in there >_>)
